Don't let him overwhelm you


 

The Bible says Satan is like a roaring lion therefore he is not a roaring lion. His roaring has a purpose, to scare you and cause fear and panic.

According to Matthew 4: 8 - 10, Satan claims that all the glory of the world and it's beauty in it belongs to him. 

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written,“‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’

You see now that everyone can give only that which belongs to him. The world belongs to Satan and he gives to those who love him and worship him knowingly or unknowingly.

Brother Job feared the roar of Satan guess what all that he was afraid of, came upon him. Watch this, For the things that I feared has come upon me, and what I dread befalls me. I am not at ease, nor am I quiet; I have no rest, but trouble comes. Job 3: 25 :26.

Those who are born of God they exercise the sonship of God because they have the Spirit of God. Where the Spirit of God is there is freedom. Meaning if you do not have the Spirit of God there will be no peace for you. You may try to have peace through beer drinking, doing drugs and all sorts of bad habits you won't have peace. Peace is found when you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior. Not only that you must have the Spirit of God. Because where God's Spirit is that is where freedom, peace and calmness will be. 

So, Satan is not a roaring lion but like he has no power to devour you because greater is He who is watching over you. He does not sleep or slumber. You will give Satan a chance to inflict you with pain and suffering if you fear him. You can not fail to to fear him if you do not have the spirit of God. You should know that this is not about degrees or power. Satan is not afraid of your degrees he wants to push you and bring you to hell, through selfishness, pride and arrogance. 

Jesus is waiting for you today to make your final decision to follow Him and serve only Him. Announcing your decision to follow Him is not enough work on your character by work with the word of God. Let Jesus be built in you through His Spirit calmness will come.

Man of God you are God's temple

 We have a real problem when it comes to pastors accepting that they need hospitals to treat whatever sickness they have. The work of God is good and as men of faith, pastors needs to believe that hospital and church are one. Because they both work for the common good of the society. The problem comes when the pastor is obesity and does not want to know how his blood pressure is. In Africa most of the pastors die with blood pressure and sugar because they believe in super power God. They don't have interest of knowing their blood pressure and sugar. The Bible is the word of God to train us into believing that we are the temple of God. Therefore we have the responsibility of taking care of our body.  Pastors do not need to eat everything but be selective of what you are eating and even the amount. Man of God remember this God will hold you accountable for failing to take care of His temple which is you.
